California: Janitors in L.A. protest for "Respect"

According to the L.A. Union:

Nearly 1,000 janitors and their supporters marched and held a rally on Thursday, March 6 outside the nation’s largest convention for corporate real estate executives. The demonstration was part of statewide efforts to win a new contract with higher wages, access to health care and respect, among other issues, for the state’s 20,000 janitors that keep California’s top industries – including commercial real estate, high-tech and bio-tech – clean and open for business...click to continue
