According to the Wall Street Journal:

Craigslist.com, a 13-year-old community Web site, has become a popular destination for more than just folks looking for second-hand furniture and apartment listings. The growing new crowd: Job hunters.

Craigslist features classifieds for more than 500 cities in over 50 countries world-wide, and these include ads for full- and part-time jobs ranging from the corner office to the entry level to babysitting gigs and bartending stints. The site posts two million new job listings every month and draws about 40 million unique visitors in that time as well, says Jim Buckmaster, Craigslist's chief executive officer since 2000.

Mr. Buckmaster, who stands a gangly 6' 7" tall, recently visited the Wall Street Journal's offices in New York on a business trip away from his 25-person firm's headquarters in San Francisco.
